Shower enclosure with a folding door and a hinged door with a fixed part
Shower enclosure consists of a folding door and a fixed wall with a hinged door. The product is well-suited for a shower corner next to which are fixtures where the doors may not have enough space to properly open to both sides. Folding door does not require space for opening in the outside of the shower area, but the door folds inside the shower area so that the door panels fold into a small space against the wall of the building. Fixed wall can be dimensioned according to the depth of the fixtures so that when opened, the door does not hit the fixtures. The doors can be dimensioned symmetrically or so that the doors are of different sizes. When the shower is not in use, the doors can be turned in the direction of the building walls.
Doors rotate 90 degrees in both directions and are equipped with adjustable centrings. The function of the centring is to return the door to the open and closed positions. positions. In addition, the outer panel of the folding door rotates 180 degrees in relation to the inner panel so that the panels fold against each other into the interior portion of the shower area. A pair of magnet handles keeps the doors tightly closed during showering.
The door panel and the fixed panel with the door panel attached to it are mounted to building wall using wall mounting profiles on each side of the enclosure space. The support bar is set up from the top edge of the fixed panel and screwed into the building wall. Bottom seals can be attached to the panels and a step profile can be installed under the door panels to improve water retention. The white (RAL 9016) and black (RAL 9005) surface treatment options are manufactured by powder coating. The fittings used in the product, are made of black/white painted brass alloy.
The product is manufactured with a 6mm thick tempered safety panel (EN 12150). The safety panel can be treated in the production with Cranith calcification prevention coating which helps keeping the glass clean. One side of the satin panel is etched to acquire a velvety feel and the other side is smooth. When choosing a satin panel product, bear in mind that the etched surface of the panel is sensitive to scratches and stains.
The size of the shower corner can be selected from among the standard sizes or it can be manufactured custom dimensions. The adjustment range of the wall mounted profile of the fixed part is 7mm and that of the door, 15mm, respectively. The adjustment range can be used for levelling of any tilt of the building s walls or for extending the widths of the sides of the shower enclosure in relation to the provided standard dimensions. The widths of one or both sides can be further extended by 34mm(door), 40mmm(fixed panel) via the extension profile (optional accessory). The extension profile can be grooved, for example, for the inlet of the surface water pipes. The fixed panel is mounted with tuning leg by default which is suitable for tilted floors in the case of even floor the floor mounted option can be selected.

The product is supplied as standard with a 33 mm high floor seal. The optional accessories are a 50 mm high floor seal for shower areas where the floor tilting is higher than normal. The length of the floor seal is 1000 mm and it is cut to a suitable length on site. The watertight quality of the product can be improved by installing a step profile under the door. The step profile is cut into a suitable length on the side and glued to the floor. The height of a shaped step profile is 10 mm and its width is 16 mm.
