Alcove fitting with a fixed wall and folding door
The Alcove fitting configuration consists of a fixed wall and a folding door. The product is well-suited for a shower enclosure outside of which on one side are fixtures and on the other side the space is cramped so that the door may not fit properly to open outwards. A folding door does not require space for opening outside the shower area; instead, the door folds inside the shower area so that the door panels fold into a small space against the wall of the building. A fixed wall and door can be dimensioned so that the fixed wall protects the fixtures and the door occupies the width of the available space.
The door rotates 90 degrees in both directions and is equipped with an adjustable centring. The function of the centring is to return the door to the open and closed positions. In addition, the outer panel rotates 180 degrees in relation to the inner panel so that the panels fold against each other into the interior portion of the shower area. A pair of magnet handles keeps the door tightly closed while showering.
The fixed shower panel with a tuning leg set up on the bottom is attached to the wall mounting profile with self-drilling screws. The door panel is mounted to the other side of the enclosure using wall mounting profile. The support bar is set up from the top edge of the fixed panel and screwed into the building wall. Magnet seals are installed on each of the doorway panels to keep door tightly closed. Bottom seals can be attached to the panels and a step profile can be installed under the door panels to improve water retention.

The white (RAL 9016) and black (RAL 9005) surface treatment options are manufactured by powder coating. The fittings used in the product, are made of black/white painted brass alloy.
The product is manufactured with a 6mm thick tempered safety panel (EN 12150). The safety panel can be treated in the production with Cranith calcification prevention coating which helps keeping the glass clean. One side of the satin panel is etched to acquire a velvety feel and the other side is smooth. When choosing a satin panel product, bear in mind that the etched surface of the panel is sensitive to scratches and stains.
The size of the alcove fitting can be selected from the standard sizes or it can be manufactured using custom dimensions. The wall mounted profiles have the total of 22mm adjustment tolerance The adjustment tolerance can be used for levelling any tilt in the building s walls as well as for accommodating the alcove fitting into the installation opening. For the purposes of accommodating the fitting into the opening, one or more extension profiles (optional accessory). One extension profile extends the width of the alcove fitting by 34mm(door), 40mmm(fixed panel) and it can be grooved for example for the inlet of the surface water pipes. The fixed panel is mounted with tuning leg by default which is suitable for tilted floors in the case of even floor the floor mounted option can be selected instead when ordering.

The product is supplied as standard with a 33 mm high floor seal. The optional accessories are a 50mm high floor seal for shower areas where the floor tilting is higher than normal. The length of the floor seal is 1000mm and it is cut to a suitable length on site. The watertight quality of the product can be improved by installing a shower door threshold under the door. The door threshold is cut into a suitable length on the side and glued to the floor. The height of a shaped threshold is 10mm and its width is 16mm.Fixed panel is mounted with tuning leg by default which is suitable for tilted floors in the case of even floor the floor mounted option can be selected.
