Folding shower screen with a fixed part
The shower screen consisting of a fixed part and of a folding part, protecting the space and the fixtures next to the shower from splashing water. The fixed part efficiently restricts the flow of water and when the shower is not in use the folding part can be folded into the space inside the shower in the direction of the building wall. Due to the combination of the fixed and the folding part the shower screen can be dimensioned also in a cramped space so that the hinged part does not hit other fixture.
The folding part of the shower screen turns to both directions 90 degrees and is equipped with adjustable centring. The centring attempts to return the folding part back to the open and closed positions. The outermost panel of the folding part turns in addition the outer panel 180 degrees in relation to the inner panel of the folding part so that the panels fold against each other into the interior portion of the shower area.
The wall mounting profile is screwed in to the building wall. The door panel is attached to the wall mounting profile with self-drilling screws. A step profile and a bottom seal can be installed under the door panel to improve water retention.

The white (RAL 9016) and black (RAL 9005) surface treatment options are manufactured by powder coating. The fittings used in the product, are made of black/white painted brass alloy.
The product is manufactured with a 6mm thick tempered safety panel (EN 12150). The safety panel can be treated in the production with Cranith calcification prevention coating which helps keeping the glass clean. One side of the satin panel is etched to acquire a velvety feel and the other side is smooth. When choosing a satin panel product, bear in mind that the etched surface of the panel is sensitive to scratches and stains.
The size of the shower screen can be selected from the standard dimensions or it can be manufactured custom dimensions. wall mounted profiles have 7mm of adjustment range. The adjustment range can be used for levelling any tilt of the building s wall or for extension of the width of the shower screen in relation to the provided standard dimensions. The width can be further extended by 40mm via the extension profile (optional accessory). The extension profile can be grooved, for example, for the inlet of the surface water pipes. The fixed panel is mounted with tuning leg by default which is suitable for tilted floors in the case of even floor the floor mounted option can be selected.

The product is supplied as standard with a 33 mm high floor seal. The optional accessories are a 50mm high floor seal for shower areas where the floor tilting is higher than normal. The length of the floor seal is 1000mm and it is cut to a suitable length on site. The watertight quality of the product can be improved by installing a shower door threshold under the door. The door threshold is cut into a suitable length on the side and glued to the floor. The height of a shaped threshold is 10mm and its width is 16mm.Fixed panel is mounted with tuning leg by default which is suitable for tilted floors in the case of even floor the floor mounted option can be selected.
